In 1910, karl Güde opened his first cutlery workshop in Solingen, Germany and has continued the historic tradition of the well-known German kitchen knife house ever since. From the very beginning, Karl Güde produced only hand-forged and finely crafted knives, with individual handles, a production technique that still characterizes these German kitchen knives today. Forging the best handcrafted cutlery has always been part of the philosophy of the Güde company, which still today is proud to continue the centuries-old tradition of manufacturing kitchen knives of the highest quality for which the city of Solingen is justly famous in the world.
