Marttiini kitchen Knives;
In 1928 the blacksmith Janne Marttini decided to found his own knife factory in Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland.
With the idea of producing a knife that would adapt to the needs of a harsh climate such as that of the dark arctic seas of Finnish Lapland, J. Marttiini began the production of his first models.
Natural materials such as leather, birch, reindeer horn and an ultra-sharp blade in precious steel are the elements that characterize these knives.
In 2005, the Marttiini family sold the entire capital of Marttiini ltd. In Rapla VMC Corporation, but the knives of this house are still manufactured in the Arctic Circle and as in the past are the result of craftsmanship and modern technology.
