The Super Accel is a light (195g) yet strong handsaw, making it a favorite of many gardeners. It is designed with an angle of approximately 10 degrees between handle and blade, which means that each cut requires less force, minimizes vibrations and increases speed. The hacksaw can be opened easily thanks to the notch in the blade, even when wearing gloves. The blade locks in two positions with the locking mechanism. At the end of use the blade folds easily with the locking mechanism. The sharp teeth are securely covered as they are hidden inside the rubber grip. The aluminum handle is reinforced with rubber to absorb vibrations and offer excellent grip.
The Super Accel comes with two choices of teeth: the large tooth version has 7.5 teeth by 30mm and is suitable for ripping fresh wood; the fine tooth version has 14 teeth by 30mm and is best suited for hard or seasoned wood, such as most fruit trees.
