Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 MICROCLEAN® is a state-of-the-art cold work tool steel manufactured using the particle metallurgy process. Its blend of advanced alloys has been specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength required in industrial cutting, shearing and punching operations. Despite its toughness, its exceptionally fine and homogeneous microstructure also makes it easily workable and easy to heat treat. Taken together, these qualities make the K390 an exceptional blade material for true steel connoisseurs.
