Sales Conditions

This page governs the terms and conditions of sale for the products on the Knife Park website. The products on the Knife Park site are sold by Knife Park of Diego Quattrone, whose registered office is located at Via Eduardo de Filippo 119, 00128 Rome (RM). You may contact us by email at info@knifepark.com. We are registered in the Companies Register in Rome under number RM1568762, VAT number 15114351008.

Sales prices are expressed in Euros, VAT included. Shipping costs, if applicable, are to be paid by the buyer and are calculated by the site once the final destination of the product is provided.

The Owner reserves the right to update the prices on the site. Prices are fixed only after an order has been submitted. All sales transactions are governed by Italian law, in particular by Legislative Decree 206/2005 and Legislative Decree 70/2003.

Regarding personal data, please note that Knife Park acts in accordance with privacy law (Legislative Decree No. 196/2003) and the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) along with its subsequent amendments. For more information, please visit the Privacy Policy page.

DEFINITIONS

For easier understanding of these Terms and Conditions, please refer to the following list of definitions:

BUSINESS HOLDER : Diego Quattrone, VAT number 15114351008, with its registered office located at Via Eduardo de Filippo 119 – 00128 Rome (RM), and email info@knifepark.com

APPLICATION : The website www.knifepark.com, managed by the Holder, is a marketplace for purchasing sporting and professional knives.

PRODUCTS : The products are offered through the APPLICATION.

USER : Any person who uses the APPLICATION (with or without a VAT number).

CONSUMER : Users without a VAT number.

CONDITIONS : This contract governs the relationship between the USER and Knife Park Company.

STIPULATION AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

The sales contract is concluded upon submission of the order on the site. Knives (including chef’s knives and outdoor knives) are sold only to individuals aged 18 and over. By placing an order and accepting our Terms & Conditions, you declare that you are at least 18 years old. We may request proof of identification before shipping your order.

After your purchase order is submitted, Knife Park will send a confirmation email along with an order summary. The Owner reserves the right to modify or update these terms of sale. Users are advised to review the Terms and Conditions each time they access the site.

REGISTRATION

In order to access all the functions of the site, registration is required. To register, you must provide all the required information and accept the privacy terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Knife Park is not liable for any loss or unauthorized use of your access details.

ACCOUNT CANCELLATION

Registered users can request account cancellation at any time by contacting customer service or sending an email to info@knifepark.com . (For more information, please visit the Privacy Policy page.) Knife Park reserves the right to terminate a user's account if these Terms and Conditions are violated.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The products purchased on Knife Park are subject to Legislative Decree 206/2005 and Legislative Decree 21/2014, which guarantee the right to withdraw from the sales contract within 14 days from the date the product is received. (For more information, please visit the right of withdrawal page.)

PURCHASE ON THE WEBSITE

The purchase of products on Knife Park is available to all users. For the definition of "consumer," please refer to Article 3 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). Only the payment methods indicated on the site are accepted. (For more information, please visit the payment methods page.) Refunds, if accepted by the Holder, will be processed using the payment method originally used. (For more information, please visit the right of withdrawal page.) The prices of products on the Site are VAT inclusive. If you purchase from a non-EU country, your local legislation may impose additional VAT and duties based on the type and value of the goods.

All products sold on the www.knifepark.com website are new and unused. Our products are supplied directly by the manufacturers and/or the official distributors of the respective brands. Consequently, each product is identifiable by the name and product identification code issued by the manufacturer. Characteristics such as the type of materials used or the country of origin may change at any time by the manufacturer; therefore, these are not considered definitive for product identification. The seller is not responsible for any such changes unless they render the product unsuitable for its intended purpose.

The user is responsible for the product’s integrity while it is in their possession. In the event of a withdrawal, the product must be returned in its original packaging, including all instruction manuals and accessories, and must not be damaged or worn. Knife Park will not accept returns for products that are non-functional due to improper or negligent use.

DELIVERY TIME

If the product is in stock, it will be shipped within 24 to 48 hours after payment confirmation. Please note that prices on the site are subject to change at any time. Upon delivery, the user must verify that the number of packages received matches the number indicated on the delivery note, and that the packaging is complete and undamaged. If the package is not intact, the user must accept the delivery "with reserve" or "with product control reservation" and provide a description of the anomaly.

If the user has insured the shipment and wishes to claim compensation for damage, they must document the damages on the delivery note. (For more information, please visit the page dedicated to the insurance service .)

Any damage to the product must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Such notifications can be sent by post or through the customer support service on the site. The user must provide a telephone number to facilitate delivery by the courier, who will make two delivery attempts.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

The current availability of products is always displayed on the site. If an order exceeds the quantities available in the warehouse, the user will be informed of when the product will be available again or of the expected shipping delay. In such cases, the user will be asked to confirm any changes to the delivery conditions.

GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY

All products on the Knife Park site come with a legal guarantee of conformity. To invoke this guarantee, the customer must provide proof of purchase, such as fiscal documentation or order details sent via email. In accordance with Directive 1999/44/EC, the legal guarantee of conformity is available only to private consumers.

This guarantee may be invoked if the product is not usable, does not conform to its description, or does not possess the typical qualities expected of it. The customer must report any defect within two months of its discovery by contacting customer support . The legal guarantee of conformity can only be applied if the product has been used correctly and in accordance with the accompanying technical documentation.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PURCHASER

Upon submitting an order, the buyer is required to pay the price of the purchased product. Only the payment methods indicated in the order form are accepted. The buyer must accurately provide their personal information during registration; creating multiple accounts or entering third-party data is prohibited. By confirming the purchase order, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these obligations.

CORRECT USE OF THE WEBSITE

Users access the services offered by the site at their own risk. In no event shall Knife Park be held responsible for any damages arising from the use of the site. Knife Park is not liable for slow or interrupted data transmission, data loss, or computer viruses, nor for any data loss from its computer systems. Users are responsible for keeping the information they submit secure. Any links to third-party sites are provided solely for the user's convenience, and Knife Park is not responsible for the content of these external sites.

LAW AND APPLICABLE JURISDICTION

The sales contract between the buyer and Knife Park is concluded in Italy and is governed by Italian law. In the event of any legal disputes concerning the sales contract, if the user is a consumer, the competent court shall be that of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile (if the consumer is in Italy). In all other cases, if the user is not a consumer or is not resident or domiciled in Italy, the competent court shall be in Rome.

To ensure proper interpretation of this contract in English, please note that in the event of any legal disputes, the Italian version of the contract shall prevail.
