Hultafors hatchets are hand-forged and made from quality Swedish steel in the Hults Bruk forge in the Swedish province of Östergötland. The forging technique dates back to 1697.
The Agelsjon is the smallest of the outdoor hatchets, suitable for excursions in the mountains or in the woods. Convenient and ready to use, it is suitable for different situations, such as cutting firewood or building a shelter. With its short handle and light weight it is suitable for carrying in a backpack or attached to a belt. The hatchet takes its name from the nearby Ågelsjön lake which once supplied water to the Hults Bruk forge mill.
