Containing nearly 15 percent vanadium, its unique alloy composition creates an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. Spyderco’s limited-edition CPM 15V knife family is further enhanced by a special heat treatment protocol developed by acclaimed custom knifemaker Shawn Houston.
